The Society for Educational and Entrepreneurship Development (SEED) has constituted the Sustainable Institute Industry Partnership (SIIP) award to recognize institutes and industries which have established and contributed for effective industry linkages. This initiative is a platform for all stake holders across the country to showcase their performance and achievements.

Our institution has been selected as the best institution for Sustainable Industry Institute Partnership for the past 2 years. This year Sona has got three awards:

• Best Educationist Award 2016  to Shri C. Valliappa, Chairman, Sona Group of Institutions
• Award to the college for outstanding achievement in establishing Sustainable Industry Institute partnership
• Best Entrepreneurship Cell Co-ordinator Award 2016 to Mr. N. Sampathkumar, Head, Entrepreneurship Initiatives

Principal Dr. M. Usha, Prof B. Saravanan, Mr. N. Sampathkumar received the ‘Sustainable Institute Industry partnership – SIIP 2016’ at the National summit held in New Delhi on 21st and 22nd July 2016.
