AICTE CII Best Industry Linked Technical Institute in India 2019

Yet another diamond added to the glorious crown of Sona!

The Department of Fashion Technology and Department of Computer Science and Engineering & Information Technology have won the ‘AICTE-CII Best Industry linked Engineering Institution award’ for the year 2019 -2020. The coveted award is bestowed upon Sona College of Technology by the All Indian Council for Technical Education (AICTE) in association with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) for the sixth time since the inception of the award in 2013.

Out of 9832 institutions which have applied for the award, 39 institutions were shortlisted for final presentation. Of the 10 awards announced, Sona has bagged 2 awards making the moment indelibly marked in the annals of Sona. For the second time, Sona becomes the only institute to receive 2 AICTE-CII awards in a year across the country.
