SONA Centre for 3DExperience platform (SONA3Dx)
Sona College of Technology is continuously offering various training programs for the benefit of the student community. In this connection, Sona College of Technology has tied up with Tamil Nadu Centre for Advanced Manufacturing (TANCAM) for giving training on 3DExperience platform.
The collaboration with TANCAM to set up Sona Advanced Manufacturing(SAM) - Training Design Knowledge(TDK) Center of Excellence (CoE) will equip the students at Sona College of Technology with latest technologies such as 3DEXPERIENCE platform for up-skilling their knowledge and work on future-ready innovation projects through modern design and engineering solutions. It will also enable the growth of various industries like aerospace, defense, automotive and electric vehicles. The training activities offered at the center align with the government’s objectives under “Naan Mudhalvan” scheme to offer skill training and guidance programs for school and college students for a successful career. Moreover, The Center of Excellence (CoE) will have facilities for an engineering digital platform to support product design, composites, simulation, and digital manufacturing, along with a 3D printer and virtual reality-setup.
