Research and Development - Sona CAD/CAM/CAE
Activities: The CAD/CAM/CAE consultancy and Training Center is equipped with advanced CAD software and Industrial CNC lathe and Wire-cut machines. The center undertaking industrial consultancy like New Product Development, Reverse-Engineering, CNC high precision parts manufacturing. It also provides industrial based professional training to the students using advanced CAD/CAM/CAE software and CNC machines.
HIGHLIGHTS RECENTS:
High-precision parts manufactured for Aero-space and switch gear Industries.
Part: Teflon Ring Guider, Moving coil, Fixed coil, Coil plunger, Fixed stem, HUB.
Materials: PTFE-Teflon, Stainless steel. OFT-Copper, En36-B steel and Aluminum
Application: PTFE-Teflon Rings are used in the Helicopter cabin air cooling system. The ring is placed in the Air flow spherical control valve. The Switch gear parts are used as a core contactor in the vacuum tube assembly.
On-going CAD-Industrial consultancy projects
Consultancy: Concept and Design Manufacturing of SPM for CONRN food processing industry & Echo-friendly - recyclable adjustable chairs for industrial applications.
Client: Farm-Harvest – SRI JAYASREE FOOD PRODUCTS.
Projects: NPD for Vacuum Corn flat packing. Corn-Sizing Filters.
Mass-Production Manufacturing for Switch-Gear Industries.
Part : Moving coil, Fixed coil, Coil plunger, Fixed stem, HUB.
Material : OFT-Copper, En36-B steel and Aluminum
Application : The parts are used as a core contactor in the vacuum tube assembly.
Parts also used for High voltage power supply control systems.
Ongoing project: NPD for Vacuum Corn flat packing. Corn-Sizing Filters. Corn core Half-breakers.
