  • A prototype has been built and experimented on satellite images and two different sets of drone images.

  • SYCL leveraged heterogeneous hardware architectures such as CPUs, GPUs, and FPGAs to optimize classification algorithms for parallel processing, enabling faster and more accurate diagnosis.
  • This project was part of the Intel OneAPI Challenge 2023 hosted by Intel and Hack2Skill, and was awarded the Runner-Up position.

  • Brain Computer Interface (BCI) focuses on establishing the symbiotic relation between human brain and artificial intelligence. BCI enables users to directly communicate with a computer by means of brain activity.
  • With advancements in BCI technology, disabled people can control home appliances through their brain activity without depending on a caretaker.
  • In this project, an EMOTIV EPOC 14+ sensor device is used to acquire RAW EEG data from a disabled person and feed it to the built model for pre-processing and prediction. The proposed model has achieved high prediction accuracy with minimal error.

  • In response to a call by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for solutions to check the spread of the deadly Covid-19, the engineering students of Sona College of Technology, Salem and engineers of Vee Technologies, Bengaluru have created two apps.
  • The first, ‘Corona-Scan’, proactively allows public health officials to map individuals who were in close proximity with a possibly infected or active Covid-19 patient.
  • The second, ‘Corona-Support’, asks the public for voluntary registration. If an individual tests positive, a voluntary status update can be entered in the app, helping health authorities track the spread of the virus accurately.
  • The ‘Corona-Support’ app is intended to be of immense value to anyone wishing to protect the community from further spread.
