Agribpo is an ICT (Information and Communication Technology) based application to promote Entrepreneurship development of Women SHG in Salem District, TamilNadu through rural Agricultural Support Centers. This is a funded project received from the Department of Science and Technology under the science for equity empowerment and developement(SEED)division. Agri industry being the source of livelihood for more than 50% people of the country is on an impeding state which can be accounted for one such reason like the lack of integration of technology with it. The advances in technology would provide information on the factors that affect the productivity and beyond their control in resolving like crop-disease, weather, market price etc. Hence here in this project we try to link both these technologies and help the farming community to overcome their problems in agriculture and also train the women farmers to emerge as an Enrepreneur.

Sona believes in the new ideas related to industry development and niche areas. The institution adopted blended learning strategies, through Moodle LMS for improving the teaching learning and student centric learning. Team of CSE Faculty flipped the idea of e-learning with the open source LMS-Moodle which is one among the 20 most popular Learning Management Systems in the world.
Moodle is a Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) which makes it easy to provide online support for any resource. Providing a central space on the web where students, Faculty and staff can access a set of tools and resources anytime anywhere.
Key benefits of using Moodle LMS in organization.
1. Open source
MOODLE is an alternative to proprietary commercial online learning solutions and is distributed free under open source licensing. It is designed to provide educators, administrators and learners with a single robust, secure and integrated system to create personalized learning environments. Hence it allows anybody to adapt and amend it for commercial and noncommercial projects.
2. Make it your Own
One of the most loved aspects of Moodle is that administrators can add or remove features at their own discretion. This means they can customize Moodle to make it their own.
3. Cost-effective
Moodle’s value for money makes it one of the most popular Learning management Systems around. With a small amount spent on customization and development, Moodle can become a powerful tool within the organization.
4. Offline access
Moodle can help to train faculty or students placed in remote areas. Moodle’s compatibility with all mobile devices has made offline access possible.
5. Intuitive navigation
Moodle is developed around the user meaning it comes with a simple interface and design. It has three distinct sections and offers useful information.
6. Scalability
Moodle can accommodate a sole user of multiple users with equal ease. It is employed by the organization as well as huge facilities all across the institution.
Main benefits of integrating LMS-Moodle in Sona
Benefit #1: Centralized Learning
It offers a centralized source of learning. This means that the training, performance, and development content are offered at all times from the same source. Multiple users can access the information at any given time. These systems ensure consistency in the evaluation and delivery of the material, meaning every user sees the same content through the same manner.
Benefit #2: Tracking and Reporting Features
Students can enhance their performance through tracking and reporting tools. Progress of students can be tracked, records can be reviewed, and users can register for more than one course.
Benefit #3: Evaluation Capabilities
It allows students to be evaluated before they take the course, while they are in the course, and when they finish the course, then review the records to determine the levels of success. .Students can review their personal performance based on quizzes and tests that are administered by the professors.
Benefit #4: Easy Upgrades
The content and information in the course can be easily upgraded.
Benefit #5: Simplified Learning Process
It simplifies the learning process and the easiest personalized platforms for learning.. Moodle accommodates multiple features including recording and tracking, documentation and administration, as well as classroom learning. They deliver integrated and enriched learning experiences for the users that expound upon virtual learning and collaboration modules.
