B.E.- MECHANICAL ENGINEERING
In their careers, our graduates will
- PO1: Apply basic knowledge of mathematics, science, and engineering principles to solve technical problems.
- PO2: Design and analyze a system component, or process to meet desired needs in Mechanical Engineering.
- PO3: Design a system and conduct experiments to find suitable solutions in the field of mechanical engineering.
- PO4: Identify, visualize, formulate, and solve engineering problems in the field of Mechanical Engineering.
- PO5: Use the techniques, skills, and modern engineering tools necessary for engineering practice with appropriate considerations for societal and environmental constraints.
- PO6: Apply their fundamental field skills towards the understanding of the impact of engineering solutions on society in a global and social context.
- PO7: Impart knowledge of contemporary issues about society and the environment.
- PO8: Apply ethical principles and responsibilities during professional practice.

M.E. – ENGINEERING DESIGN
The Engineering Design Graduates will be able to:
- PO1: An ability to independently carry out research/investigation and development work to solve practical problems
- PO2: An ability to write and present a substantial technical report/document.
- PO3: Students should be able to demonstrate a degree of mastery over the area as per the specialization of the program. The mastery should be at a level higher than the requirements in the appropriate master's program.
- PO4: Students should be able to understand the importance of the creativity process in design and will demonstrate an ability to identify, formulate, design a system, and solve engineering problems.
- PO5: Students should be able to use the techniques and modern engineering tools necessary for engineering problems and develop confidence for self-education and the ability for life-long learning.
M.E. - INDUSTRIAL SAFETY ENGINEERING
Upon completion of the Industrial Safety Engineering program, students can be able to:
- PO1: An ability to independently carry out research/investigation and development work to solve practical problems.
- PO2: An ability to write and present a substantial technical report/document.
- PO3: Students should be able to demonstrate a degree of mastery over the area as per the specialization of the program. The mastery should be at a level higher than the requirements in the appropriate master's program.
- PO4: Create, select, learn, and apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern engineering and IT tools, including prediction, and modelling to safety, health, and environmental engineering activities with an understanding of the limitations.
- PO5: Demonstrate the societal, health, safety, legal, and cultural issues, and the consequent responsibilities relevant to occupational health and safety practices.
