Lab Facility

Electrical Machines Lab :

  • Area - 240.53 Sq.m.
  • 15 batches (each batch of 3 students) of students can utilize the lab effectively at a time.
  • The lab will be utilized by EEE, ECE, CSE, B.Tech(AFT) and Mechatronics Students.
  • The machineries in the lab includes,
  • DC shunt, Series and Compound Motors with belt load arrangements
  • Motor – Generator sets
  • Resistive Loads
  • Rectifiers (36V, 230V).

Measurement & Instrumentation Lab :

  • Area - 119.04 Sq.m.
  • The equipment’s include
  • Linear Displacement Transducer,
  • Strain Measurement trainer,
  • Temperature Measurement trainer,
  • Pressure measurement trainer,
  • AC & DC bridge kits,
  • Instrumentation Amplifier kit,
  • A/D & D/A Converter kit,
  • 1ф-Energy meter,
  • Current Transformer, Potential Transformer
  • Other transducers.

Microprocessor Lab & Digital IC Lab :

  • Area - 133.88 Sq.m.
  • 45 Students can utilize the lab at a time.
  • The equipments include
  • 8085, 8086, Micro Controller Kits
  • Temperature controller kit
  • A/D interfacing kits
  • Stepper Motor Interfacing
  • Traffic Light controller
  • DAC Card
  • Interfacing Cards are available in this lab
  • CRO, Keyboard and digital controller.

Power Electronics & Drives Lab :

  • Area - 186.825 Sq.m
  • Maximum of 45 students can utilize the lab at a time
  • The major equipments include
  • Convertor Kits
  • Triggering Modules (R, R C & UJT)
  • Chopper Kits, Cycloconverter Kits
  • 1 phase and 3 phase Induction Motor Drive Control using IGBT Chopper
  • Microprocessor based Firing Control for DC Shunt Motor etc.
  • DSP Controller
  • 3 phase converter and Inverter

Industrial Automation Laboratory :

  • Area - 186.825 Sq.m
  • Maximum of 33 can occupy the lab
  • The major equipment’s include:
  • Conventional relay control system
  • Temperature control using PLC and SCADA
  • Pressure control using PLC
  • Flow control using PLC
  • Traffic light control using PLC and SCADA
  • Level control using PLC and SCADA
  • Hydraulic and pneumatic cylinder control system using PLC
  • Hydraulic motor actuation system using PLC

Robotics Laboratory :

  • Area - 186.825 Sq.m
  • Maximum of 33 can occupy the lab
  • The major equipment’s include:
  • Six axis Mitsubishi electric robot with camera and lens
  • Robot work cell with conveyor applications
  • Personal computer for programming
  • Robot studio simulation software

Project Laboratory :

  • Area - 186.825 Sq.m
  • Maximum of 10 project batches can occupy the lab
