Sona College of Technology had signed MoU with Capgemini Engineering, Bengaluru for mutual knowledge transfer and benefits on 23.12.2021 in VLSI & Embedded Systems domain. An Institute – Industry interaction programme was organized in Sona College of Technology on 7.4.2022 for faculty and students of EEE and ECE departments.
The leadership team from Capgemini comprises Mr. K. Harish Kumar Vice President- Engineering -E R&D, Mr. Vijay Raman – Senior Director, Mr. Yerramalle Seshachalam – Senior Director, Mr. M. Kesavan – Director, CAPGEMINI Engineering, Bengaluru visited the college. The following activities were conducted on 7.4.2022.
- EEE and ECE faculty interaction with the Leadership team.
- An awareness lecture on “Career aspects in VLSI / Embedded systems” was delivered by Mr.Harishkumar, Vice President- E R&D, Capgemini for second and third year EEE & ECE students.
- The team visited all the research centres in EEE and ECE departments and also the VLSI, PCB design, Embedded systems and Microprocessor Laboratories.The team appreciated the research works that are being carried out in various centres and gave required inputs to the faculty incharges. Overall, the programme was highly useful to the students of both EEE and ECE departments.
