When Alumni Gather, Magic Happens: Sona–Bengaluru Chapter Takes Flight

On February 14, 2026, the Sona Alumni Bengaluru Chapter was officially launched, marking an extraordinary milestone in the institution’s journey.

A Vision Unveiled
The highlight of the event was the introduction of SCALE (Sona Centre for Advanced Learning and Entrepreneurship)—a transformative initiative led by Vice-Chairman, Mr. Thyagu Valliappa, and presented by Dr. M. Venugopal, Dean of Sona School of Business & Management. The initiative reflects a forward-thinking approach to academic excellence, innovation, and entrepreneurship.

Wisdom Shared
The addresses delivered by Vice-Chairmen, Mr. Chocko Valliappa, and Mr. Thyagu Valliappa set an inspiring tone for the gathering. Deep appreciation is extended to the distinguished Guests of Honour—Mr. Rashmikant Joshi, Mr. Augustus Azariah, Mrs. Uma Reddy, and Ms. Fatema Hunaid—for enriching the occasion with their valuable insights and perspectives.
Adding depth to the evening was the Principal’s address, which resonated strongly with the alumni community.
