The Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Sona College of Technology (Autonomous), Salem, successfully hosted the International Conference on Computational Intelligence, Security and Systems (ICCISS-2026) on March 13–14, 2026. This premier two-day event served as a high-impact forum, uniting academicians, scientists, student innovators, and industry experts from across the nation.

The primary objective of ICCISS-2026 was to create a unified platform for sharing innovative research ideas and developmental activities. Participants engaged in deep discussions regarding current technical challenges, identified emerging trends, and collaborated to shape the future directions of research in the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) sector.

A major highlight of the conference was the international keynote address delivered by Dr. Arun Kumar Sangaiah, a Full Professor and Senior Member of IEEE from the National Yunlin University of Science and Technology, Taiwan. Dr. Arun Kumar Sangaiah shared profound insights on the theme “Computational AI in Sustainable Digital Transformation via IoT Eco-Systems,” emphasizing the intersection of AI and sustainable technological growth on 13.3.2026. Dr. N. Sureshkumar, Director, Chettinad Academy of Research and Education (Deemed to be University), also graced the occasion and shared valuable insights on the significance of interdisciplinary collaboration.

An interactive technical session was organized to sensitize faculty members and researchers toward the rapidly evolving frontiers of modern technology. The session, led by Dr. Arun Kumar Sangaiah, aimed to provide a strategic roadmap for navigating the “Next Generation Research Opportunities” on 14.3.26.

The conference received an overwhelming response from the research community, reflecting the high stakes of modern computational intelligence:

· Total Submissions: 412 research papers were received from various regions across India.

· Quality Control: All submissions underwent expert peer review and plagiarism screening using iThenticate CrossCheck .

· Accepted Papers: 224 high-quality papers were selected for presentation

· Participation: 912 participants attended and present their research work at the conference..

Through initiatives like ICCISS 2026, Sona College of Technology continues to strengthen its commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and technological advancement in the field of Computer Science.
