The Department of ECE organized a Guest lecture titled “ETL development and AIA insights” for its students of batch 2022-26. It was held on 01.04.25 in APJ hall of ECE department. The session was handled by Mr Pragadeesh R V, who is currently working in Cognizant solutions under ETL development and AIA insights. The resource person spoke on various machine learning prerequisites, including problem solving strategies, along with its role in today’s software industry, along with some of the previous year statistics for the same. Some points on current trends in the IT industry were also delivered. He shared information about the possible ways of improvising the students’ interest in Machine learning and their associated approaches in helping students for the same, the various machine learning related jobs they can take up, and how these skills developed by the students will be useful to the students in real life industry aspects. He also assessed the students knowledge about current industry trends, and how they can enhance the same by means of constant practice.
Overall, this guest lecture was a great event to enhance knowledge of the students in ETL development and AIA insight, related industry trends , and how it might prove useful to them in their career perspective.
