The Department of Mechanical Engineering, Sona College of Technology, organized a One-Day Workshop on “Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV): Regulations, Flight Operation, and Demonstration” on 22nd October 2025 (Wednesday) from 09:30 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. at the PG Auditorium.
The sessions were handled by Mr. Sanjay Asokan, Software Developer, and Mr. Aatas Gunasekaran, Drone Design Engineer, from Flytutor Technologies Pvt. Ltd.
During the workshop, valuable knowledge on UAV regulations, flight operations, and drone demonstrations was effectively shared with the students and faculty members. Participants gained practical exposure to drone technology and insights into the current trends and regulatory frameworks governing UAV operations. In addition, a practical demonstration session was conducted, allowing participants to observe and understand drone flight operations firsthand.
The workshop provided an excellent learning experience and was well-received by all the participants.
