The Department of ECE organized a Higher Studies Awareness Program titled “Unlocking Opportunities through GATE: Higher Studies & PSU Careers” for its students of batch 2022-26 and 2023-27. It was held on Friday(25.04.25) in MBA seminar hall of MBA department. The session was handled by Mr Kaushik, who is currently the Senior Faculty Member, ACE Engineering Academy, Hyderabad. The resource person spoke on various GATE exam prerequisites, including exam preparation strategies, along with its role in today’s Government job sectors, along with some of the previous year statistics for the same. Some points on current trends in the core industry were also delivered. He shared information about the possible ways of improvising the students’ preparation methods and their associated approaches in helping students for the same, the various core government jobs they can take up, and how these skills developed by the students will be useful to the students in real life industry aspects. He also assessed the students knowledge about current industry trends, and how they can enhance the same by means of constant practice.
Overall, this guest lecture was a great event to enhance knowledge of the students in GATE exam and it’s preparation, related industry trends , and how it might prove useful to them in their career perspective.
