Pinkathon Rally 2018 – “Beti Pacho Beti Padho” Awareness programme of government of India was held on 14-9-2018 in Gandhi stadium. Smt. Rohini Bhajibhakare, IAS, District Collector presided over the function and joined the Pinkathon Rally 2018. A total of 190 female students and 9 faculty members of Sona college of Technology, attended the Pinkathon Rally 2018.This rally generated awareness about the importance of saving girl child from social illegal activities and providing education to the girl child which takes the country towards the attainment of developed nation. Also to generate awareness and improve the efficiency of welfare services intended for girls.
