The NSS units of Sona College of Technology organized Samathuva Pongal and the Special Camp Valedictory Ceremony on 08 January 2026 at Vattamuthampatty Village and MGR Nagar, marking the successful conclusion of the NSS Special Camp. The program was conducted in a spirit of unity, equality, and gratitude, bringing together villagers, volunteers, and organizers on a common platform.
The celebration of Samathuva Pongal symbolized harmony beyond social differences, emphasizing the values of brotherhood, mutual respect, and togetherness. Traditional Pongal preparation and cultural elements created a warm and festive atmosphere, strengthening the bond between the NSS volunteers and the local community.
During the valedictory session, the activities carried out throughout the camp were recalled, highlighting the collective efforts of volunteers in community service, awareness programs, cleanliness drives, and welfare initiatives.
