The International Conference on Sustainable Materials and Advances in Regenerative Technologies (SMART – 2025), held at Sona College of Technology, Salem, on the 31st of January and 1st of February 2025, concluded with great success. Inauguration Ceremony:
o Welcome Address: Dr.C.Shanthi, Professor&Head of the Department of Science, Sona College of Technology, Salem warmly welcomed the gathering and set the stage for an inspiring conference.
o Introduction to conference : Dr.V.BalaSubramaniyan, Professor, Department of Science, Sona College of Technology, Salem delivered an insightful intro on the importance of sustainable materials and advancements in regenerative technologies.
o IACG Session: Dr.M.Srinivasan Assistant Professor, SSN College of Engineering, Chennai provided an overview of the Indian Association for Crystal Growth (IACG) initiatives and their impact on material sciences.
o Presidential Address: Dr. Prof. S.R.R.Senthikumar, Principal, Sona College of Technology, Salem delivered the presidential address, emphasizing the critical role of sustainability in future technological advancements.
o Special Address: Dr. Kentaro Kutskuke, Associate Professor Nagoya University, Japan shared insights on global trends in crystal growth and regenerative technologies, inspiring collaboration among attendees.
