The National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of Sona College of Technology has received three awards from Anna University this year (2024-25) for the academic year 2022-2023.
Anna University, Chennai, recognizes affiliate colleges for the various social and community welfare activities carried through their NSS units. Awards are given to the outstanding volunteers and the programme officers who plan the activities and guide the volunteers. Sona College of Technology has been a consistent performer and has received awards over the years.
In acknowledgment of the exceptional services performed by student volunteers under the NSS Programme officers of Sona College of Technology, Dr. P. Iyyanar and Mr. A. Naveen Kumar, the college has been awarded the Best NSS Unit Award for the year 2022-2023. The college received the award from Dr. R. Velraj, Vice Chancellor of Anna University.
