SONA NPTEL LOCAL CHAPTER has Secured “AAA” rating (17th Rank) in NPTEL examinations held during July-Dec 2024 among 7000 Colleges in all over India. “AAA” ranking in NPTEL which is considered as prestigious and highest Award category in NPTEL ranking.
Faculty Performance Rating
Sona College of Technology has secured a SECOND POSITION in the FACULTY PERFORMANCE rating given by NPTEL among the 7000 Colleges in all over India during July-Dec 2024 examinations. Also, Sona College of Technology has consistently retained a position within the “Top 3” in faculty performance ratings since the inception of this award category by NPTEL.
LC Star for Consistence Performance for 4 Years
NPTEL has introduced a new category of awards, ‘LC STARS,’ to recognize the performance of Local Chapters over the last eight semesters in NPTEL examinations. If a Local Chapter consistently performs well and ranks in the top 100 of the LC Rating lists for eight consecutive times, NPTEL identifies it as an LC STAR.
For the timespan 2021–2024, NPTEL has shortlisted only 20 colleges across India that meet the criteria for this prestigious award. Our SONA NPTEL LC is one of these 20 colleges, recognized for its consistent performance in NPTEL examinations during 2021–2024.
This marks the SECOND time our college has received the LC STAR award, having previously earned it for the timespan 2017–2020. Sona College has demonstrated continuous excellence in NPTEL performance since 2016.
