On August 18th, 2023, our Sona NSS wing participated in the Freshers Day event. Around 40 NSS volunteers took part in this event. The event commenced at 9:00 a.m. The inauguration program was held in the following halls (PG Auditorium Hall, Sri Valliappa Auditorium Hall, GT Hall, and TPT Auditorium Hall), for which we spitted up various teams. In this event, we got a chance to render service by welcoming and helping the first-year students and their parents. Our volunteers directed the students and their parents to their respective halls. Lunch was supplied to first-year students and parents. Our NSS volunteers actively participated in this event, and the event ended at about 3 p.m.
