Republic day is a festival for republic India for us. Jan 26, will always be remembered as a momentous day in history of India. On this day, India gained as a republic country, after the freedom fight with British after being ruled by them for nearly 200 years.
Our Sona collage had celebrate the republic day . And we hoist our national flag. Our NCC cadets had take part in parade, drill and NCC cadets are awarded with their achievements in their camps, that was the proud movement for every cadet
PATRIOTIC RUN
Sona College of Technology organized a Patriotic Day run on 26 January 2022 , across India to pay tribute to the veterans of India who spent their life in protecting the nation along with martyrs who sacrificed their life for Indian soil. The run will glorify the moment of nationalism and patriotism that every single Indian have. The Patriotic Run was Started by “Our Chief Guest our Principal Mr. S.R.R.Senthil Kumar” had Initiated this event.
SEA A. Kapilan from Attur, Salem district, a veteran of the 1971 Indo Pakistani war who served in the Indian Navy was paid homage by the Vice Chairman of the Sona Group of Institutions, Mr. Thyagu valliappa. During the function, NCC officials and students were also present.
