In celebration of the remarkable journey and enduring legacy of our visionary leader and mentor, Sri C. Valliappa Sir, the Sonaria Music Club of Sona College of Technology, in collaboration with Nesackkarangal Destitute Children and Elders Home, Salem, organized a special outreach event titled “Echoes of Kindness—A Musical Day with Sonaria” on Saturday, 19th July 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
This commemorative program marked the birthday of Sri C. Valliappa Sir, a pioneer whose invaluable contributions to innovation, education, and compassion have positively influenced thousands of lives. The event was graced by the presence of Prof. Dr. S.R.R. Senthil Kumar, Principal of Sona College of Technology, and Dr. M. Renuga, HOD of Humanities and Languages—First Year, who lauded the sincere efforts of the Music Club students.
Through a series of heartfelt musical performances, the students spread joy, hope, and inspiration among the residents of Nesackkarangal, exemplifying the true spirit of kindness and social responsibility. As part of this initiative, the alumni of the Sonaria Music Club generously donated groceries worth ₹10,000 to the residents, with the donation formally handed over by Prof. Dr. S.R.R. Senthil Kumar during the event. This act further underscores the club’s unwavering dedication to community service through empathy and generosity.
