It was a galore of events at Sona Institutions as Sona Group celebrated the Nation’s 77th Independence Day! Chief Guest, Sri.C.Valliappa, Chairman of the Sona Group hoisted the National flag. Students of the Sona Institutions exhibited their patriotism through their dance and Silambam performances! Appreciating the performances, the Chairman announced Rs.10,000/- for each team to hone their extracurricular skills. Chairman, C.Valliappa, Mr. Thyagu Valliappa, Vice-chairman of Sona, Dr.S.R.R.Senthilkumar, Principal of Sona College of Technology and Dr.V.Karthikeyan, Principal of Thiagarajar Polytechnic College, Mrs.E.J.Kavitha, Principal, Sona Valliappa Public School, Dr. Bhuvaneswari, HoD, Biotechnology Department, Sona College of Arts and Science addressed the Deans, Heads, faculty, staff, NCC, 20 NSS cadets instilling patriotic fervor.
