The Department of Civil Engineering, Sona College of Technology in association with The Institution of Engineers (India) student’s chapter celebrated “55th Engineers Day” in commemoration of 162nd birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Sir M. Visvesvaraya at Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Hall, Sona College of Technology, Salem on 15th September 2022. The Civil Engineering Head Dr. R. Malathy, welcomed the gathering. The chief guest Er. B. Selvakumar, President, Salem Civil Engineering Association, Salem gave thought provoking ideas to the students in the field of civil engineering and opportunities for internship. The winners and participants of various technical and non-technical events were awarded with certificates by the chief guest and he showed his gratitude for the management, faculty and students participants for supporting in organizing such programme.
