The Webinar was conducted for Second Year ADS students on the topic “DevOps-Industry trends and Practices” through online mode on 17.05.2024 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.
1. The Resource Person has explained the following topics.
• Overview of DevOps.
• Industry Trends in DevOps (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Containerization)
• Use of tools like Slack, Jira, and Confluence to enhance communication.
• Benefits and Challenges in Implementing DevOps.
• Case Studies and Success Stories.
2. The resource person also addressed the challenges faced by organizations when implementing DevOps and discussed best practices to overcome these challenges.
3. The guest lecture by Mr. Gopalakrishnan Sriraman offered a comprehensive overview of DevOps, highlighting its significance in the current technological landscape.
4. The session underscored the importance of adopting DevOps practices to achieve faster, more reliable, and higher-quality software delivery.
5. Students gained valuable insights into the latest trends, best practices, and the challenges associated with implementing DevOps in organizations.
6. Finally feedback on the session has been collected from the students via Microsoft form.
