The Department of ECE organized an Alumni Webinar titled “Future Prospects in Electronics Engineering” on 13.08.25 at Sri Valliappa Auditorium, with Mr. Abdul Raheem, Senior Systems Engineer at Honeywell, USA, as the resource person. He highlighted the vast career opportunities in core and interdisciplinary domains such as VLSI, Embedded Systems, IoT, Artificial Intelligence, Communication Systems, and Semiconductor Technologies. The session emphasized aligning academic learning with industry-required skill sets and adapting to global trends. He also shared insights on higher studies opportunities in India and abroad, the rising demand in R&D sectors, and the scope for entrepreneurship in electronics. Students actively interacted with the speaker, clarifying their doubts on career planning and industry readiness.
