The National Convention of Block Chain Technology for Artificial Intelligence of Things (NCBCTAIoT) brings together academics and industry experts to discuss the development and increasing role of block chain and artificial intelligence of things, as well as their applications in a variety of disciplines. The National Convention of Computer Engineers and the concurrent National Seminar on “Blockchain Technology for Artificial Intelligence of Things” brought together distinguished experts, professionals, and researchers in the fields of computer engineering, blockchain technology, and artificial intelligence (AI). The event aimed to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing, emphasizing the integration of blockchain technology with the rapidly evolving landscape of the Internet of Things (IoT) and AI. This report provides a comprehensive overview of the key discussions, insights, and emerging trends presented during the convention and seminar.
The Convention kicked off with a formal inaugural session at 10.00 am on 16th October 2023. S R Saravanan, Chairman IEI Salem Local Centre extended a warm welcome to all the dignitaries on and off the dais, participants, faculty, and student community. The theme for the convention was set by Dr.J.Akilandeswari by stating that the theme encapsulates the central ideas of combining blockchain technology with artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things. It emphasizes the collaborative potential of these technologies, highlighting their capacity to ensure secure data management and facilitate intelligent connectivity in various industries and sectors. This was followed award distribution under the categories of lifetime achievement award, young engineer award and eminent engineer award, felicitation address, presidential address, inaugural address and vote of thanks.
The Technical address by Sudeep Mishra was on Research, internship, and project Opportunities in the fields of “IOT and Health care”. The rapid advancements in IoT have significantly transformed the healthcare landscape, enabling the development of innovative solutions that improve patient care, streamline operational efficiencies, and enhance disease management. This session mainly delved into the multifaceted implications of IoT in healthcare, including its applications, benefits, challenges, and potential future developments. The talk also covered a few Applications in the field of IoT in Healthcare like Remote Patient Monitoring, Asset and Inventory Management, Smart Medical Devices, Telemedicine and Virtual Consultations.
