On 26th March 2017 Sunday, Sona college of Technology’s NSS wing has organized an awareness Marathon “ Blood Brigade’17 “ based on the theme ‘Voyage to Eminence’ to promote Blood and Organ donation in and around Salem region. Around 650 participants from various district participated in various category like 5 Km’s Men, 5 Km’s Women and 10 Km’s Men. Also most of the participants enrolled themselves voluntarily in the Organ donation and received their Identity card. Dr.V.Jayaprakash , Director Industry connect , felicitated the gatherings and distributed the prizes for the winners in all categories. The Management and the Principal Dr.M.Usha acknowledged NSS Programme officers Dr.P.Iyyanar , Mr.P.Jayaprakash and all the NSS Volunteers for their efforts in making this event a grand success.
