On World Tourism Day, 27.09.2023, Sona College of Technology’s National Service Scheme, in collaboration with the Salem District Tourism Development Department, organized a Cleanliness Activity at Kuruvampatti Zoological Park, Salem. 75 NSS volunteers showcased their commitment to environmental stewardship, emphasizing the significance of clean public spaces. The event featured an awareness campaign on responsible waste disposal, promoting conservation. Additionally, participants had the opportunity to visit the modern theater entrance and engage in an exhibition presented by the Tamilnadu Museum Salem, facilitated by the District Tourism Development Department.
