An awareness program aimed at promoting traffic safety was conducted at Vinayaka Mission’s Kirupananda Variyar Engineering College. Organized jointly by 11 TN Signal Company in collaboration with Sona NCC and 12 Battalion NCC, the event took place on February 28th, 2021. The program focused on raising awareness about the importance of adhering to traffic rules and regulations to ensure road safety. Through interactive sessions and informative presentations, participants were educated on various aspects of traffic safety, including the significance of wearing seat belts, obeying speed limits, and avoiding distracted driving.

The event also emphasized the role of responsible driving in preventing accidents and protecting lives. Practical demonstrations and case studies were used to illustrate the consequences of reckless driving behavior and the importance of defensive driving techniques.

By fostering awareness and understanding of traffic safety principles, the program aimed to empower individuals to become more responsible and cautious drivers, ultimately contributing to the reduction of road accidents and fatalities.
