The NEEDS Programme (New Entrepreneur cum Enterprise Development Scheme) was conducted to train the New Entrepreneurs from outside. The participants were shortlisted by nearby DICs (District Industrial Centre). Mr.R.V.Subramanian was the programme organizer from EDII, Chennai. The programme was coordinated by Prof.G.Suresh, AP/EEE and EDII Field coordinator Mr.C.Asokkumar.
20 Trainers from various discipline including government sectors like PCB, TNEB, DIC, FSSAI, Insurance Labour Law etc. deputed by EDII, Chennai handled the sessions to train the participants.31 participants have attended the training and benefitted.
