At Sona College of Technology, we, the Sona cadets, organized a Swachh Bharat event to underscore the pivotal role cleanliness plays in fostering a healthy environment. Understanding that cleanliness begins at home or in our immediate surroundings, our event aimed to raise awareness about the importance of maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in our community. On November 11th, 2020, 29 dedicated Sona cadets actively participated in this initiative, demonstrating their commitment to the cause.
During the event, Sona cadets engaged in various cleanliness activities, including garbage collection, sweeping, and general maintenance of the college premises. By actively participating in these tasks, they aimed to set a positive example for others and inspire a culture of cleanliness among their peers and the wider community.
Moreover, the Swachh Bharat event provided an opportunity to educate participants about the significance of proper waste management, sanitation practices, and individual responsibility in maintaining a clean environment. Through spreading awareness and active involvement in such initiatives, Sona cadets showcased their dedication to building a cleaner and healthier society.
