SWACHH BHARAT-AT SONA COLLEGE OF TECHNOLOGY
As per the directives from the Headquarters of NCC and our respective units, Sona College of Technology organized a Swachh Bharat event to promote cleanliness and hygiene on June 26th, 2019. Recognizing that cleanliness begins at home, our aim was to raise awareness about the importance of maintaining clean surroundings.
A total of 24 cadets from Sona College actively participated in this initiative as volunteers. They commenced the cleanliness drive at the Government Museum, setting an example for the community. Witnessing the cadets’ efforts, residents in the vicinity were inspired to join in and clean their surroundings as well. This small but impactful gesture by our college cadets led to a noticeable improvement in the cleanliness of the area. The event not only influenced individuals to keep their surroundings clean but also served as a testament to the positive impact that collective action can have on communities. It underscored the importance of individual responsibility in contributing to a cleaner and healthier environment.
