A road safety rally and Mega blood donation camp were organized by Sona College of Technology, Salem, on 25.11.2023 (Saturday) to celebrate NCC day. The event was inaugurated by SCT Principal Dr. S.R.R. Senthilkumar, Inspector of Police Sivakumar, Sub Inspector Mahendaran, and our college NCC officer Lt. Dr. Shakthivel. The initiative aimed to raise awareness about road safety, combining informative sessions with engaging activities.
 
A notable highlight was a captivating mime act strategically integrated into the rally to underscore the importance of safe driving practices. The event garnered participation from 8 diverse colleges and one school under the 11 TN SIG Coy NCC umbrella, emphasizing a collective commitment to promoting responsible road behavior.
 
In tandem with the rally, a commendable effort unfolded through a blood donation camp organized by Sona NCC. The camp was inaugurated by Govt. Hospital blood bank Medical officer Dr. V. Raveendar and SCT Principal Dr. S.R.R. Senthilkumar. They delivered valuable speeches about the importance of donating blood. This philanthropic endeavor attracted participants from various colleges, showcasing a unified spirit in support of a noble cause.
 
The collaborative efforts of law enforcement officials, educational institutions, and the NCC underscored the significance of community engagement in fostering a safer and more responsible society.
