The Department of ECE organized a guest lecture on the topic ” Analog electronics in a digital world”. It was held on Tuesday (31 .10.23) in the Electronics lab of ECE department. Dr.Vimalathithan was the resource person who spoke in this topic, and is the director, at Krishtech, Coimbatore. The session consisted of the resource person introducing the concept of signal transmission, how it is important in the current scenario and how this principle is useful in various scenarios. He shared the usages of a Cathode Ray Oscilloscope, and how these signal tracking principles are used in the real world phenomena. He also assessed the students knowledge about an analog signal, and enhanced it as the session progressed.
Overall, this guest lecture was a great event to raise awareness among the students about signal travelling, what is an analog signal, and how it might be rendered useful by under demanding circumstances.
