Sona Group of Institutions Sonaria Music Club Students from Sona College of Technology, Sona College of Arts and Science, and Thiagarajar Polytechnic College performed various cultural programmes to commemorate the centennial jubilee of the Valliappa family home. Lakshmi Vilas, the ancestral home of the Sona Group of Institutions’ Chairman and Vice- Chairmen, stands tall and beautiful, upholding a tradition for 100 years. On November 13th, 2022, the Chettinad home in Pulankuruchi celebrated its centennial. Our students performed the folk dances Karagattam, Kumiattam, Oyilattam, and Kolaatam for 60 minutes, as well as a skit from The Great Ramayana Story and Music Programme.
Thiru T. Mano Thangaraj, Hon’ble Minister for IT & Digital Services, TN; Mr. P. Madhusudhan Reddy, Sivagangai District Collector; Sri C. Valliappa, Chairman, Sona Group of Institutions; Mr. Chocko Valliappa, CEO, Vee Technologies and Vice-Chairman Sona Group of Institutions; and 21 members from the US office of Vee Technologies; Dr. S.R.R.Senthilkumar, Principal of Sona College of Technology; Dr. G.M.Kadarnawaz, Principal of Sona College of Arts and Science; and Dr.V.Karthikeyan, Thiagarajar Polytechnic College graced the occasion.
