On November 28, 2022, Sona College of Technology’s NSS, YRC, and RRC, in association with the Government of Mohan Kumaramangalam Medical College & Hospital Blood Bank, conducted a Blood Donation Camp 2022. The blood donation camp was inaugurated by our respectable principal, Dr. S.R.R. Senthil Kumar, Sona College of Technology, Salem City Health Officer, Mr. Yoganadhan, and NSS, YRC, & RRC programme officers. 101 staff members and students from various departments came forward to donate their blood. The blood donors were given juice and biscuits after donating the blood to reenergize themselves. The blood donors were provided with a blood donation certificate card by GMKMCH, Salem. Dr.M.Raveendran, Medical Officer, Government Mohan Kumaramangalam Medical College & Hospital Blood Bank expressed their gratitude to the NSS, YRC, & RRC units of the college for their continuous endeavour in this regard. He also stressed the growing need for blood in the state and commended the young volunteers for their noble act.
