The Training Department of Sona College of Technology recently organized its thrilling Aptitude contest, “Aptithon 2024’’, a team-based comprehensive competition to showcase and reward students’ aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Approximately 134 teams, each comprising four members spanning B.E/B.Tech, MCA, and MBA departments, participated in the competition, which took place on 29th February 2024.

The contest consisted of two rounds. The first round featured a written test encompassing problems from quantitative and verbal aptitude, logical and non-verbal reasoning, puzzles, crypt arithmetic, and flow chart, for a total of 500 marks. The top twenty teams from the first round progressed to the second round, a face-to-face interview aimed at evaluating the cognitive skills of the students.

Winners are set to be announced during the valedictory ceremony of Aptithon 2024. The recognition for the outstanding performers comes in the form of cash awards totaling Rs. 26,500, which will be distributed among the top five teams. The breakdown of the cash prizes includes Rs. 10,000 for the 1st prize, Rs. 7,500 for the 2nd prize, Rs. 5,000 for the 3rd prize, Rs. 2,500 for the 4th place, and Rs. 1,500 for 5th place.
