ANNUAL TRAINING CAMP (senior wing):

NCC girl cadets from Sona College of Technology enthusiastically participated in the ten-day NCC Annual Training Camp (ATC) held from November 19th to November 27th, 2020. The camp, organized by 12 TN BN, NCC Salem, took place at KSR College of Arts and Science, Tiruchengodu. Alongside Sona College of Technology, numerous other institutions also sent their cadets to participate in this enriching experience.

During the camp, participants underwent training in various crucial branches, including map reading, physical training, weapons training, battle crafts, and drill. Additionally, they immersed themselves in the camp life, imbibing qualities such as adventure and discipline while also partaking in cultural activities.

One of the highlights of the camp was the closing ceremony, presided over by Commanding Officer Col P Thomas Philip. In his speech, Col Philip emphasized the importance of the NCC and the invaluable lessons of discipline and determination learned during the camp. He encouraged the cadets to carry these virtues forward as guiding principles in their future endeavors.

The NCC Annual Training Camp not only provided participants with practical skills and knowledge but also instilled in them a sense of camaraderie, leadership, and responsibility. As representatives of Sona College of Technology, our girl cadets showcased their commitment to personal and collective growth, reflecting the ethos of the NCC and its role in shaping well-rounded individuals.
