NCC Boys Cadets from our college participated in the 3-day NCC Annual Training Camp (ATC) from February 18th to February 20th, 2021, conducted by 11 TN SIGNAL COMPANY NCC at Shri Sakthikailash Women’s College, Salem. Alongside our Sona College, many other colleges participated in the event.

On the first day, senior members from each college gathered the cadets to provide them with detailed information about the activities scheduled for the next three days, followed by the registration process. Focused on the overall development of the cadets, the camp included various workshops, drills, quarter guard duties, solo singing, solo dance, group dance, and other cultural activities. Throughout the camp, participants received training in essential areas such as map reading, physical training, weapons handling, battle tactics, and drill. They were also exposed to the camp lifestyle, fostering qualities of adventure, discipline, unity, and secular values. Emphasis was placed on character building among the cadets. These camps serve to strengthen bonds among cadets through shared experiences and mutual support. The concluding day of the camp featured a celebration and felicitation ceremony, during which Commanding Officer Col M.P Singh delivered a speech emphasizing the importance of NCC and the values of discipline and determination instilled during the camp, which would guide them throughout their lives.
