A Remarkable Occasion in the History of Sona! Sona takes pride in hoisting a massive sized National Flag, 75 × 50 ft, at Sri Valliappa Block to mark India’s 75th Year of Independence. At a grand function today(14.08.2022), the magnificent flag was unfurled by NCC Cadets and presented in front of the Chief Guest, Hon’ble Minister Thiru. K.N. Nehru, who well appreciated Sona for its significant exhibition of patriotic fervour.
Sonaria Music Club students participated in the Sona Group of Institutions Celebration. They performed a brass band march and a patriotic song for the nation to instil pride and a desire to serve the country.
The function was graced by Guest of Honour, Thiru. R. Rajendran, MLA, Sona’s Management, Principals, faculty, and students. The flag is flown on the 8th floor of Sri Valliappa Block, the tallest building in Salem. Jai Hind!
