CABLE FAULT LOCATOR (Model CFL-10.2)
Cables are important elements of electrical networks. It may fail due to external damage, overheating, moisture ingress, poor installation, soil erosion and corrosion. Therefore continuous assessment of healthiness of cable is important for electrical utilities.
SonaPERT has developed a cable fault locator after a strong research in this area to easily detect the fault in cables. SonaPERT Cable Fault Locator (Model CFL 10.2) is an excellent and highly accurate portable measuring instrument to check the open and short circuit fault of cables. It is a PC based instrument which will locate the open & short circuit faults in long run of low, medium and high voltage power cables, coaxial cables, twisted pairs and communication cables. It is being light weight and compact can be carried on the field and can be operated for at least 8 hours on the internal rechargeable batteries. CFL 10.2 measuring range is upto 1 km and accuracy limit is ±0.5%.
