Facilities - English Club

The English club was started in 2008 by THE DEPARTMENT OF HUMANITIES AND LANGUAGE under Dr. Renuka as head and professor G.Sharathalakshmi as Club coordinator. The English Club is exclusively dedicated to help students get better on their communication skills and language providing them a platform to showcase their best. Throughout the year they were many events conducted exclusively for enhancing the English language within the campus.

Leef (Literary Events for Enhancing Fresher’s) a mini symposium exclusively for first year students, consist of speaking and writing competitions. Literary League a mega symposium which is conducted for all the students of our college consist of writing and speaking competitions. The events were conducted in such a way that they enhance their technical knowledge, grammar, creativity, competency, leadership and evaporate their stage fear. It is organized in such a way that participants become competent for the recruitment process.The English club conducted mock HR as a part of training the final year students to face their placements without fear. It helped the students to get a clear view on the different criteria and scenarios that is used to evaluate a candidate and make them job ready.The English Club present the poet's day it is open for all the department and it is an amazing opportunity for students to unleash their lyrical and poetic talents.
