Dr.S.M.Udaya Krithika,Dr.K.Mani , Dr.D. Raja - PALS innoWAH! 21-22 National Level Competition Winners for Project of Producing Cruelty free - Vegan Leather under the theme "Environment and Sustainability"

Dr.S.M.Udaya Krithika, Dr.K.Mani , Dr.D. Raja Won 4th place with 3 lakhs cash prize for the business plan competition conducted by the Manthan FKCCI, Bengaluru out of 612 college and 750 teams getting participated. It’s a most prestigious award received from Shri.Tejasvi Surya Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Bengaluru South under Title : Production of eco-friendly vegan leather using degradable bio waste

Dr. D. Raja, Prof. K. Mani and Prof. G. Gunasekaran received grant of 14.5 Lakhs DST Project – “Modification of Industrial-Grade Sewing Machine to make it User-friendly for Differently-abled Persons”. (On Going)

Two student teams won the second prize of Rs. 50000/- (guided by Mr. G. Gunasekaran, Associate Prof. / FT) and the consolation prize of Rs. 10000/- (guided by Mr. C. Prakash, AP/FT) along with the citations received from the then Governor of Tamil Nadu His Excellency Sri. Surjeet Singh Barnala, in a regional-level project work presentation contest 'TechNow 2010', jointly organised by AIMO (All India Manufacturers Organisation) and Anna University, Chennai at Anna University, Chennai, among over 100 participating teams across the country.

A student team won the second prize of Rs. 10000/- (guided by Dr. D. Raja ASP, Mr. K. Mani, AP and Mr. G. Gunasekaran, HOD along with the citations in a regional-level project work presentation contest 'TechNow 2014', jointly organised by AIMO (All India Manufacturers Organisation) and Anna University, Chennai at Anna University, Chennai, among over 150 participating teams across the country.
