This conference will provide the participants with opportunities to discuss and explore areas related to the theory, development, applications and experiences with the fellow students, researchers and practitioners. The conference will provide a platform for bringing forth significant research and literature across the various fields of electrical engineering and technology, especially power engineering. The conference is meticulously planned to muster innovative ideas from researchers, scientists, academicians, industry professionals and students. The aim of this conference is to provide a great platform for sharing and discussing the novel research findings in the areas of “Power Engineering”.
Sona College of Technology, one of the top-ranking engineering colleges in India, has achieved global identity through its involvement in research in recent technology and successful completion of projects and products. Situated in Salem, Tamil Nadu, the southern part of India, Sona is the best destination for engineering aspirants. The college offers UG & PG courses in Engineering, Management, Computer Applications and Doctoral Degree (Ph.D.) in all major disciplines. The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering was established in 1997 to produce young and quality electrical engineers who are industry-ready and skill-oriented to fulfil the desired requirements of industries. It offers U.G. programme (B.E. – Electrical and Electronics Engg.), two P.G. programmes (M.E.-Power System Engineering and M.E. - Power Electronics and Drives) and Doctoral Programme (Ph.D.). It has a highly qualified and experienced faculty team which includes 21 Doctorate degree holders and 7 members pursuing Ph.D. Also, it has four established R & D centres, which are working in the recent technologies to provide a solution for industry problems. The Department has received 5 years FULL Accreditation from National Board of Accreditation (NBA), New Delhi, for the duration of 2016 to 2021. The department has also bagged AICTE – CII award for the best industry linked institution.
To become a front-runner in bringing out globally competent electrical and electronics engineers, innovators, researchers, and entrepreneurs and thereby contribute value to the knowledge-based economy and society.
POWERCOIN’20 invites original, previously unpublished and high quality research and survey articles from Research Scholars, Faculty Members of Engineering Colleges/Institutions, UG/PG Students and Industrialists. The conference is focused on addressing the various research challenges presented in the field of “Power Engineering”.

All the submitted papers will be peer reviewed by experts. The accepted and presented papers in the conference will be considered for publication in the following refereed SCOPUS Indexed Journal.

Papers should be of maximum SIX pages (including figures, tables, and complete with authors’ affiliations) in the camera-ready submission. Papers exceeding six pages will be charged additional amount for publication. Manuscripts should be prepared as per IEEE A4 template format.

Registration fee can be paid only after the acceptance of the paper. At least one authors of accepted paper must register on or before January 20, 2020.
