The Department of Mechanical Engineering is equipped with the best resources to enrich the bloodline of the department ensuring high quality education to the students. The state-of-the-art Laboratories, the well-balanced curriculum and the faculty with iron-resolve address the cognitive capacities as well as practical hands-on workshop experience of students in fulfilling the ever more pressing needs of the industry.

Research & Collaboration

SONA3Dx leverages the 3DExperience platform to enhance product design, simulation, and collaboration, streamlining development processes in industries like automotive and aerospace. CRND specializes in robotics and nonlinear dynamics, researching autonomous systems and complex behaviour in dynamic systems, with applications in intelligent automation and control. CNM/MM focuses on developing nanomaterials and precision micro-machining, advancing technologies for electronics, biomedicine, and miniaturized components. METFORM works on optimizing metal forming processes such as casting and stamping, using computational methods to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality for industries like manufacturing and aerospace.
