1. UGC Funded Minor Research Project (2017-2019)
Title: Knowledge-Based Medical Diagnostic System to Foresee the Incidence of Neck and Shoulder Pain Disorders Among Adolescents
Principal Investigator: Dr. T. Padma Funding: Rs. 1.2 lakhs
Description: Led a research project funded by the University Grants Commission (UGC) aimed at developing a knowledge-based medical diagnostic system to predict the occurrence of neck and shoulder pain disorders among adolescents. This interdisciplinary project involved the integration of medical knowledge, diagnostic algorithms, and machine learning techniques to enhance early detection and prevention strategies.
2. NCW Funded Research Study Project (2018-2019)
Title: The Impact of Cyber Harassment on the Mental Health of Young Women in Dharmapuri District, Tamil Nadu
Principal Investigator: Dr. T. Padma Funding: 4 Lakhs
Description: Conducted a research study funded by the National Commission for Women to investigate the effects of cyber harassment on the mental health of young women in Dharmapuri District, Tamil Nadu. The project aimed to identify the prevalence, patterns, and psychological implications of cyberbullying and harassment on the targeted demographic. Findings contributed to the development of awareness campaigns and support initiatives to address cyber harassment issues and safeguard the mental well-being of vulnerable populations.
3. Sona College of Technology funded SEED Money Project (2021-2022)
Title: Blockchain based Solutions for Milk Procurement Management and Adulteration Detection
Mentor: Dr. T. Padma Funding: 0.2 Lakhs
Description: Led the research and development efforts aimed at revolutionizing milk procurement processes and enhancing detection capabilities for adulteration. Delivered innovative solutions leveraging blockchain technology to optimize transparency, traceability, and efficiency across the milk supply chain. Successfully integrated smart contracts and IoT devices to automate key processes and ensure the integrity of milk procurement and distribution systems.

Description: The objectives of the Smart Canteen project aim to transform the canteen into a smart, efficient, and customer-friendly environment that meets the needs of both the customers and the organization running the canteen.
