About Department of EEE

The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering was established in 1997 to produce young and quality electrical engineers who are industry-ready and skill-oriented to fulfill the desired requirements of industries. The department was awarded full accreditation for a peroid of six years (2016 - 2022) under Tier-I Category by NBA New Delhi. The department has also bagged AICTE – CII award for the best industry linked institution. It offers U.G.programme (B.E. – Electrical and Electronics Engg.), two PG programmes (M.E. - Power System Engineering and M.E. - Power Electronics and Drives) and Doctoral Programme (Ph.D.).

To be a leader in electrical and electronics engineering education and training by producing globally competent graduates who excel in their chosen careers and are successfully involved in innovative research and entrepreneurship with a strong commitment towards societal development.

Mission

  • To offer undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes in EEE through formal, non-formal, part-time and full-time delivery modes.
  • To provide state-of-the-art resources that contributes to the achievement of excellence in teaching-learning, research and development activities.
  • To organise faculty development programmes in need-based areas to enhance their capability in teaching, publishing research papers in peer reviewed journals, filing patents and for their overall career enhancement.
  • To provide special learning opportunities and a conducive environment for students to enhance their skills in technical, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities, soft skills and personality traits, and entrepreneurship.
  • To enhance the research facilities, training and consultancy services to bridge the gap between industry and academia.

  • Apply their knowledge and skills to provide solutions to electrical and electronics engineering problems in industry and governmental organizations or to enhance student learning in educational institutions.
  • Work as a team with a sense of ethics and professionalism, and communicate effectively to manage cross-cultural and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Update their knowledge continuously through lifelong learning that contributes to personal, organizational and societal growth.

Aim of The Conference

The key objective of this conference is to provide an open forum for participants to interact and exchange ideas, experiences on latest technologies and future trends. The discussions would also focus on evolving intelligent computing and smart technology philosophies in Electrical, Electronics and Computer Science Engineering for sustainable Development.

Submission Guidelines

  • Paper should be sent in pdf format through e-mail : rteec22@sonatech.ac.in
  • Total number of pages must be 6-8 in IEEE format. The authors are required to use the standard IEEE manuscript template for conferences.
  • The Microsoft Word template can be downloaded from the IEEE conference template page : Download
  • Original papers based on theoretical or experimental works related to the above mentioned sub-themes are solicited for presentation in the conference. Simultaneous submissions (papers already submitted to other conferences/journals) are not allowed.
  • Each submission will be assigned with a paper ID and the same should be referred for future correspondence.
  • Conference strictly abides to plagiarism policy and authors are advised to plagiarism check in prior to paper submission. Plagiarism check shall be done through TURNITIN (allowed similarity index: 15%)
  • The Committee will review all submitted papers. Notification regarding paper acceptance and scheduling will be sent to the author.
  • On intimation of acceptance, the author should register for presentation of paper through the registration link

Publications

  • The abstract of all the papers will be published in RTEEC’22 Proceedings volume with ISBN Number ISBN 978-93-83910-27-4
  • All accepted and presented papers will be recommended for publishing in Scopus indexed peer reviewed journal.
