PORT 2024<\/strong> \u2013 A National level Technical Symposium was hosted by the Department of Information Technology on 23rd and 24th of February 2024<\/strong>. The two-days symposium had workshops<\/strong> under the titles \u2013 Unlock AI Potential: Get Hands-On with Intel<\/strong>, GEN-AI \u2013 Demystified and Unlocking the Power of DSA<\/strong> and various other technical and non-technical events.<\/p>\n

The workshop on GEN-AI \u2013 Demystified<\/strong> which had 113 participants was focused on the primary outcome of relating the workflow of deep learning<\/strong> with today\u2019s sensational AI tool ChatGPT<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The workshop on Unlock AI Potential: Get Hands-On with Intel<\/strong> which had 112 participants had focused mainly on exposing the participants on multiple frameworks other than the conventional and general approach.<\/p>\n

The workshop on Unlocking the Power of DSA<\/strong> which had 35 participants had focused mainly on exposing the participants on multiple frameworks other than the conventional and general approach.<\/p>\n

The day 2 of the symposium (24th of February)<\/strong> had various technical events like \u2013 CodeMorphism<\/strong>-where participants tasked to solve problem statements in different languages, HackFest<\/strong>-where participant teams where challenged to give a innovative coding solutions to given problem statements, Catch Me If You Can -a SQL<\/strong> based Thrilling puzzle event where participants have to solve puzzle using SQL, events like Paper presentation<\/strong> sparked the enthusiasm in the participants and non-technical events like- LinkUp,Loop&Repeat,Short Film<\/strong> all were a great hit. The overall Feedback responses had shown us that PORT 2024 was a successful one and participants thoroughly enjoyed and learnt many things just like the tagline \u2013 \u201cLearning is Celebration\u201d<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n
