Department of CSE and IT conducted two-day “BOOT CAMP” on 16th and 17th December 2015 for UG and PG students to develop entrepreneurial skills. In total of 57 students actively participated from various departments (CSE, IT, ECE, EEE, MECH, ME-SE and MCA). Dr. Vijayaragavan Viswanathan, Scientist /CERN, Switzerland and CEO of Tiino Techmations Ltd, who is the mentor for the AVANT GARDE PRE – INCUBATION CLUB @Sona, was the resource person. Our Chairman Shri. Valliappa addressed the gathering in the Inaugural session. Principal Dr.V.Jayaprakash, Vice-Principal Dr.M.Usha , Dr. B. Sathiyabhama HOD/CSE , Dr.J.Akilandeswari HOD/IT and Mr.N.Sampathkumar, Centre Head – EDC were present. Prof M.Marimuthu AP/CSE and C.Sureshkumar AP/IT organized the program.
Students incorporated business view and planning, leadership quality, team building activity, public speaking skill, business related activity, multi disciplinary activity, innovative ideas and sharing, start up business and entrepreneur skills during the session. The program motivated the students and also promoted the spirit of entrepreneurship.
